If you are a PMI member and 'collect' PDUs (Professional Development
Units) then here is some important information for you.
1) When you listen to a webinar live,
after registering and signing in via the information sent to you, then we
have a data record that you attended the live session. After each webinar
we send out information regarding how to claim your Category 3 PDU at no
charge to you. We will continue to offer this free PDU to PMI members who
attend the session live as it is being broadcast. It takes us very little
effort to do this. A single e-mail blast goes out to the 125+ listeners
who fall into this catgory each month.
2) We now have the ability to provide a Category A PDU to those PMI
Members who cannot attend live but instead download and view the recorded
session after the live event - however this is not offered for free as
there is considerably more work involved on our part.
Starting with the last two webinars (located at
webinars.technobility.com)
Difficult Or Different?
Effective Communication Strategies
A Ramble through Gambles:
A Look at Risk Management
There is a PDU code embedded in the
presentation. If you watch the webinar? You can't miss it... it's a big
Yellow tag - like the one above - and it contains a PDU verification code.
If you wish to claim a PDU for viewing the webinar?
Step #1 - Write down the PDU
verification code and date.
Step #2 - To register that you viewed the
webinar head to: http://www.interthink.ca/webinars/claim_pdu.php
Step #3 - You will receive a Paypal request
for payment of $19.95 USD typically within one business day.
Step #4 - Once payment has been made - you
will receive the PDU code and instructions for registering the PDU on the
PMI website - again - typically within one business day.
Yes... a little bit complicated... but this is partly to maintain the
integrity of the PDU process, and partly to minimize costs on our end.
You can of course watch the recorded session whenever you wish -
meaning that past webinars with this code (only two currently available)
qualify for a PDU... just grab the code and follow the procedure.
