I Recently performed an online survey on the issue of "Bad Attitude". The 100 respondents contributed a wealth of information which resulted in a 12 page article, far too long to read comfortably on the web.

Here are some of the findings;

10% of employees are deemed by their managers to have a "Bad Attitude"

Of that 10%, more than 2/3 will be fired, let go, terminated or "constructively dismissed"

Both the definitions of what people classify as "Bad Attitude" and the impact these individuals have on an organization were very consistent from one respondent to another.

However, the variety of "solutions" ranged from "Ignoring the Problem" to "Firing immediately".

I've placed the MS Word Document here, feel free to download it and examine it at your leisure. The input from the respondents makes for very interesting reading.
